Emme App Billing & Payment

Do I have to pay a monthly subscription?

Yes. Subscribers who create an account after September 7, 2023 will be billed $4.99 per month.

But I've been with Emme for years. Do I need to pay for a subscription for the mobile app?

If you set up an Emme account before September 7, 2023 when Emme moved to a paid subscription, your Emme account will remain free — if Emme has been helping you with a good tracking habit we want you to keep going with it!

Why do new Emme App users have to pay for an app subscription?

We would LOVE to give the Emme App away for free. The fact is, it costs $$$ to maintain, update and improve an app and keep it safe for users. Many other apps that say they are “free” cover their costs in, shall we say, creative ways. Emme does not sell Emme user data, demographics, contact information or anything else. Nothing and never will. Same for no ads on the Emme App — it’s a hard never. Emme is 100% always-and-forever committed to you and our other community members’ privacy.

How do I cancel my Emme App subscription?

While we don’t want to see you go, we do want to make it hassle free. Get your phone and follow these instructions on how to cancel a subscription in the Apple App Store. And if these aren't working for you, check out this article from Apple for further assistance.

If I cancel my Emme App subscription, is my Emme account and data deleted?

No. Canceling your app subscription in the Apple App Store does not cancel or close your Emme account.

You can close/delete your Emme account in the Emme App. Go to the "Profile" screen and select "Account", then select "Delete my account"

If you close your Emme account, your account and all data you have recorded in the Emme App is permanently deleted from Emme. The account and data are not recoverable.
